What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

Your tour starts from your Flagstaff hotel with morning pickup by a knowledgeable, informative local guide. Upon meeting your group, you will be regaled with stories of the geology and natural history explanations of how the Grand Canyon came to be.

We were lucky enough to be the only people on our particular tour (November is not quite as popular!), but I wanted to give a big shout-out for our tour guide Tim. He was personable, informed, pleasant, and so easy to talk to and learn from. You would never know that he has led the same tour probably hundreds of times! The handouts were an extra and gave us information to bring home with us. We actually liked the ride east to Cameron Trading Post - enjoyed the native food and the exquisite art in the gallery. Thanks to Tim and all his support people at Canyon Dave's.

Keaton was our guide about 8 days ago. he is very informative and even set us up with a geology lesson at one of the GC lookout points. very easy email communication with the organization made for a easy sign up and question replies were very quick. lunch included- a grand day out! spectacular weather always helps. sign up!
