What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

Your tour starts from your Flagstaff hotel with morning pickup by a knowledgeable, informative local guide. Upon meeting your group, you will be regaled with stories of the geology and natural history explanations of how the Grand Canyon came to be.

I had only 2 days to be at the Grand Canyon before needing to be back on the road to California. Using Flagstaff as a base of operations, The Grand Canyon Ultimate Tour was just what I needed to get the most out of Day 1. The tour included just the right amount of incredible views at a comfortable and efficient pace, allowing time to soak up the ambiance and even a short hike. Tim Wilson was an extraordinary guide. His commentaries allowed us to get the most out of the experience. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and things related including hiking, camping, rafting, area history and Indian cultures.

I would highly recommend this tour for so many reasons. Our tour guide, Dustin, was incredibly well informed about anything we asked him. Even on the ride to the Grand Canyon he gave us the history of things we were seeing. I don't know if we could have easily navigated where we were going without the tour and the history was amazing. We saw old ruins and visited the geology museum and we would not have understood a lot of it without our guide. He even explained about the wildlife and informed us about the plants in the area. And we got to experience lunch on the Navajo reservation. A perfect day!
