What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

Your tour starts from your Flagstaff hotel with morning pickup by a knowledgeable, informative local guide. Upon meeting your group, you will be regaled with stories of the geology and natural history explanations of how the Grand Canyon came to be.

I took this tour with my 12 and 14 year olds and am very glad we did. It gave us so much more information and appreciation for what we were seeing than if we had just driven around ourselves. Our guide, Keaton, picked us and others up from our hotel in Flagstaff for a full day’s tour. At various points, he talked about the Native American history in the region, the early European explorers, the more modern history and how it fit into the National Park system. He also sat us down for a lesson in the geology of how the canyon was formed, complete with handouts and rock samples, and also talked about the animals and plants in the area. He was great at answering questions. I will recommend this tour to anyone visiting.

It was a trip of a lifetime for me and my family. We loved it. The many scenic views were amazing and breathtaking. The tour guide ,Keaton ,was so knowledgeable. The information was multifaceted and interesting. An unforgettable experience!!

I would recommend Dave's for your Grand Canyon Tour. Our guide Dustin was the best. Lots of photo oppertunities, history of the park, wildlife and a great lunch. This trip made our vacation complete. They know the best places to stop and makes for a stress free trip to the park. Thank you Dustin!!!
