They charge extremely high fees to see a National Park because it's on their reservation. Corporate greed at its worst. The only way to see the Grand Canyon from this area is to Pay $62 per person to ride tour buses to three locations. NO other way to see Grand Canyon from here except to get a glimpse from across their airport. You have to get on their bus with a bunch of strangers. I was told before my trip there that there was a $19 fee to walk on skywalk glass bridge (only 5 minutes on the bridge) but I couldn't take pictures with my camera or phone because they want to charge you another fee so they can take the picture. I was not told that I had to park my car and be forced to take their bus at $62 per person. I should have read the reviews here before my trip. I'm sharing so that other visitors will know that to see Grand Canyon from here will cost you $81 per person. At most should be half this cost to support operations and community. Don't get me wrong. The Grand Canyon is Beautiful and Awesome. This process of seeing it from the West rim is shameful with their business practices. The staff at the visitor center says that this helps support their community. Which is okay but these prices they are gauging the public. The two people that we encounter were arrogant and had a take it or leave it attitude. This was a waste of time. 2.5 hours to get there from Vegas and 2.5 hours to get back to see nothing. You are almost trapped into taking this tour. The other option is to venture another 2 hours to the South Rim the Grand Canyon. This Grand Canyon West was a waste of time. Do your research about this place and make an educated decision if its worth it to go. In the future, I will plan to make the extra 2-hour drive to the Grand Canyon South area that doesn't gauge you on prices to enter and lets you experience one of our nation's natural wonders.

Unique experience to try atleast once. No personal items including cell phones are allowed on your walk. I expected the photographers to capture amazing photos... they were not good. I kind of liked 2 out of the 15 taken. Tram lines to and from each section are unorganized leaving people to fight for a spot and getting on the bus. View on the Skywalk breathtaking.

If you want to experience the Grand Canyon, visit the South Rim. This venue, controlled by the Hualapai Indians is poorly managed and not worth the trip. Upon entering (purchase your tickets in advance and you will save about $6), you enter shuttle buses. There is no recording about you are about to experience and the driver is mute. The first stop is at Hualapai Ranch. Don't get off. Nothing of interest unless you want to do the zipline. Next stop is at Eagle Point where the Skywalk is located. Very poor vistas of the Canyon at this location. One visitor was overhead to say "this area should be called 'ripoff point'.The last stop is Guano point which offers the best views of the Canyon. Understand if you are in Vegas and want to see the Canyon, this is your best option. The quality of everything is poor and not worth it.

GiseppeGord, We're very sorry to hear about your disappointment in your experience at the West Rim. We do our best to keep prices fair while being able to maintain the destination and support the local Tribe. We do appreciate your feedback and will pass this onto management so we can continue to make improvements in the future.
