When it was completed in 1936 Hoover Dam was the highest structure of its kind in the world. Your small-group tour includes an extended exterior tour of the Dam (where you'll walk across the top of the Dam from Nevada into Arizona) as well as the amazing Hoover Dam Bridge 900 feet above the Colorado River with ample time for photo opportunities from the top of the dam, and Lake Mead, North America's largest man-made lake with 550 miles of shoreline. In addition, stop at a local park where herds of bighorn sheep often come down (seasonal) from the surrounding mountains to gather and graze on the sweet grass.

Grand Canyon West
You'll have three hours to explore the most beautiful natural locations on the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. As you break out of Diamond Bar Rd Canyon you'll be consumed by the awesome views and colors of the Grand Canyon. It's like entering a beautiful fantasy world. We received a call from Patsy the day before our tour and a voice message was left on our room phone informing us we would be picked up at 7.50 am the following morning, I commented to my wife that we were supposed to be picked up at 7am but this was better as we could have more time in the morning to have breakfast,we both listened to the message again to ensure this was correct, The following morning I received a call at 7am to inform us the driver was waiting in the hotel lobby waiting on us,I rushed downstairs within ten minutes having just gotten up and checked the lobby for the driver, I went outside and was told by the porter that pick ups were over in the far corner of the car park, there was only one ford transit mini bus so I went over and approached the driver, I asked him if he new anyone called Patsy and that I had received a call informing our pick up was downstairs in the lobby,he looked at me and shook his head, I went back to the hotel and by this tie my wife had arrived with the paperwork, I approached the driver again with the paperwork and asked him to take a look , he stared at the paperwork and then said that's me, opened the door of the transit handed us bag with a chocolate bar and then took great delight in informing me tat we may not make our flight on time because we were late. I apologised to the two other passengers and we headed off to the next pick up at approx 7.20am, you can imagine how both my wife and I felt not only could miss our flight but we could have jeopardised the others. We stopped enroute for a toilet break and water, which we should have had handed out to us,we were eventually asked if we wanted any water On arrival at the helicopter our driver Mr Larry MKanaky took a call and replied to the caller that certain people would not get out there beds and he was delayed, well we waited and were taken for our helicopter tour,we then went round the other attractions and at one point we met with Larry,he asked the six of us if we still wanted to see the hoover dam as we might be struggling for time,we all agreed to be united and carry on,I got the feeling that Larry wanted an early finish,as a supposedly tour guide he hardly uttered a word, when we arrived back at our hotel I had a word with Larry on what a farce the day had been and it could have been better if his attitude was more of a can do rather than total ignorance, his comments had us worked up all day and we were never at ease whilst on the tour bus,Larry needs to take a course on people management
