Walter, our guide, coach operator and chief safety officer, made a long coach ride enjoyable. His narrative was filled with historical fact and was delivered with enthusiasm and humor. While we enjoyed the Hoover Dam stop, the Grand Canyon was the star of this experience...only regret was not having more time at the Canyon (which is why this is a four star rating and not a five). Bring your āGoodā camera because the views are breathtaking! Consider packing a hoodie in your backpack or layering your clothing if you are sensitive to a chill and donāt forget your sunglasses. Wear tennis shoes or a good walking shoe as you will be in the desert and navigating a rocky terrain (this seems obvious and yet . . .). There are plenty of opportunities to use the restroom and get refreshments. For those who are GF, V, etc. pack a few snacks as the breakfast and lunch are geared toward the more traditional American diet. Lastly, my 13 year old son is an asthmatic but didnāt need his inhaler as the altitude didnāt cause him any issues. Have fun and ask for Walter.
