We booked our trip to the Canyon from SWEETours. We were picked up at 0630 from Planet Hollywood. Quick transfer to meet our driver for the day....we struck it lucky, we had Dwayne he had us all laughing and giggling from the time the trip started. He was very informative and kept us all intrigued as the knowledge he had was unbelievable. KNOW WHAT IM SAYING, ha ha. I would highly recommend booking this excursion through SWEETours and hopefully you will be lucky like us and meet Dwayne and have an awesome day at the Canyon. Thanks Dwayne, you are one hellava guy xx

well organized, timely, easy, fun, happy tour- driver and tour guide Jackie was super - good sense of humor, very professional and knowledgeable, had lots of interesting things to share and good/useful videos to play on the way to Canyon. The whole bus was one big happy bunch of tourist family- I am recommending this tour company to everybody I know!

Beginning with the shuttle pick up at our hotel, the day was great. When we transferred to the main bus and began our day, it soon became clear that the main attraction of the day was a toss up between our driver Dewayne and the Hoover Dam/Grand Canyon experience. Dewayne imparted so much knowledge and information, all mixed with humor during our time on the road. Our first stop was the Hoover Dam, a drive around with history, monuments commemorating the brave builders, and a photo stop. He made sure we had plenty of restroom stops, and a couple of bonus photo ops ( one of which was Joshua Tree). When we arrived at the Grand Canyon portion of the tour, we transferred to smaller shuttles that transported us to three different experience stations. Choose any or all of them, wander at your leisure, take a shuttle to the next experience, etc. Lunch was included, but I just expected a cold sandwich box lunch. What a surprise when we were treated to a full meal, hot baked chicken or barbecue pork, salad, baked potato, corn on the cob, roll with butter, and a yummy chewy oatmeal/raisin cookie and drink. Our dining room was open air tables along the west rim of the canyon. What an experience! The Canyon was awe inspiring. Man cannot create anything to compare with nature. I did find I was very timid about venturing close to the edge ( Dewayne had warned us of possible danger), but there were some young "pups" (not part of our group) who wanting to create some clever photos got very close and struck some dangerous poses. Hey, I think I'm getting old!! Our return trip was equally as entertaining. We stopped at the "Last Stop" gas station/store. Very reminiscent of movies set in the desert in earlier times. What a fun day! So memorable!
