Overview

Our signature flightseeing and glacier landing tour, includes 30 mins of helicopter flight seeing and 30 mins landed at 3 unique Glacier inclusive areas including on the glacier itself. This tour includes a high alpine landing where you will have 30 mins to see the grand size of the 5 mile wide and 29 mile long Knik Glacier with a birds eye view. Your second landing takes you to a massive 100 foot ice wall where form a safe distance you may even be able to see the massive ice calve . After 30 minutes safely exploring you are then relocated to the glacier landing right in the middle of Knik Glacier, where you can get out of the helicopter and spend about 30 minutes exploring ice thousands of years old with your pilot/guide. See the azure blue melt pools (summer), crevasses and the bizarre ice formations created by water, wind and the sun. During your flight seeing, keep your eyes open for the area wildlife to include Moose, Mountain Goats, Dall Sheep, Bears and even wolf on occasion!

Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 250 pounds including clothing and luggage will be required to pay a surcharge. This is payable directly to the tour operator.
CHECK IN is 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. If you arrive late, your tour may be shortened or rescheduled and additional cost may be applicable.
SERVICE ANIMALS are permitted if they are secured in a crate only. Call for specifications
Restaurant Service is available on site May 1 - September 30. Snacks are available year round for purchase.
TRANSFERS AVAILABLE FOR A COST ON REQUEST WITH OPERATOR FOR THE 10:15AM, 12:30PM, 4:30PM and 6:30PM TOUR TIMES
WINTER TOURS - October - April -we are unable to land on top of the glacier due to snow cover. We will land next to the glaciers near the massive ice formations
Guests 300lbs or over require our Astar Helicopter to fly. This is not available for every time/day.Please call direct to assure we have that helicopter available to accommodate prior to booking.

Absolutley breathtaking. We saw a bunch of wildlife, landed on a glacier miles from anyone, pilot was very knowledgeable but didnt interrupt the moments. I bought this as part of a package deal and probably would not have tried it for the price, but now i would do it again. Do this if you can.

We are so happy you were able to add us into your schedule while in Alaska. This is such a great length for a tour, 45 mins of Flightseeing is the perfect amount to see so many different angles of the back country, then the landing on the glacier next to those massive crevasses makes you realize how small we really are in the spectrum!

A friend and I booked a doors off helicopter tour of Knik Glacier on 6/15/19 and it was great. The pilot really knew what he was doing in the stiff wind we encountered and not once did we feel in danger or scared at all - truly a pro. Landing on the glacier proved to be tricky and he handled that expertly, too. We even got spikes over our boots so we could safely walk around. While the military was doing something higher up on the glacier so we couldn't go there - that was OK and we understood. Overall an amazing experience everyone should do - with or without the doors on - but for photography - which is what we were there for - the doors shouldn't be on. It's completely safe and quite invigorating!

Even though the tour costs a lot of money but when you landed on the glacier with the wonderful view, deep in my heart, it is very worth it and it is the highlight of our entirely trip. We have hesitation at first due to the weather was unstable. However, the staff, Jenn was very professional and helpful. We can only reach by what's app and she called us back for reservation and we can make our trip. The bus picked up from Anchorage on time. We ride on the 4-seater helicopter and very comfortable for just two of us. And the pilot was experience and patient. We took a lot of photos. Actually we took the cruise ship to Vancourve afterwards. At first we have hesitation to take the helicopter in Anchorage or during the cruise. Eventually we found that our decision to take one in Anchorage is good decision. We will highly recommended this company and tour.
