BrushBuck Wildlife Tours
After early morning pickup from your Jackson Hole hotel, your naturalist guide takes you into Grand Teton National Park. Even in the quiet of a snowy winter, wildlife can be spotted in the park and your guide knows where to look for animals. On any given day, you could see moose, bison, bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, bald eagles, golden eagles, pronghorn, coyotes, or even wolves as you explore the park. At midday, come in from the cold to enjoy lunch in the famous western cowboy town of Jackson, Wyoming. After lunch, head back outside for a horse-drawn sleigh ride at the National Elk Refuge. Snap social media–worthy pics of the large herds as your guide explains how the elk migrate from the surrounding area to the refuge, a 24,700-acre (9,996-hectare) winter sanctuary to 47 different mammals and nearly 175 species of birds such as trumpeter swans and bald eagles. At the end of a memorable 8-hour tour of this winter wonderland, your guide returns you to your hotel where your tour ends.

Our guide, Daniel, was wonderful. He was so enthusiastic to share all details of the land and wildlife with us, which is exactly what we were looking for. He had an eye for spotting such tiny forms in the distance, which we all thought were bushes at first, but upon further investigation learned they were the amazing animals in their natural habitat. He helped my 9 year-old and 17 year-old stay interested throughout the day and helped them take excellent pictures of the wildlife and wilderness. The sit down lunch was a nice break with great food. The wagon ride with a close-up of the elk was a spectacular final touch. This tour was worth every penny and we can't wait to come back for a summer excursion. Thank you!!

Kelsey was an outstanding guide and made the entire day memorable, delightful and educational. She made our little group comfortable from the start. She was very knowledgable about the area, the wildlife and the ecosystem and her spunky enthusiasm was contagious. We got to see bison, a bald eagle and a raven and many fascinating and rare moments of nature. She took pictures with a special wide lens telescope and sent them to us which was a fabulous souvenir. The breathtaking open spaces and wildlife came alive with Kelsey as our guide. The sleigh ride in the elk refuge was fantastic as well. At the end I had forgotten to return the binoculars and moments after I called the office she cheerfully returned to my hotel to retrieve them. Book this tour and ask for Kelsey. You will not be disappointed!

Our guide, Hailey, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was also patient with our young son, who had a lot of questions.
