BrushBuck Wildlife Tours
After early morning pickup from your Jackson Hole hotel, your naturalist guide takes you into Grand Teton National Park. Even in the quiet of a snowy winter, wildlife can be spotted in the park and your guide knows where to look for animals. On any given day, you could see moose, bison, bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, bald eagles, golden eagles, pronghorn, coyotes, or even wolves as you explore the park. At midday, come in from the cold to enjoy lunch in the famous western cowboy town of Jackson, Wyoming. After lunch, head back outside for a horse-drawn sleigh ride at the National Elk Refuge. Snap social media–worthy pics of the large herds as your guide explains how the elk migrate from the surrounding area to the refuge, a 24,700-acre (9,996-hectare) winter sanctuary to 47 different mammals and nearly 175 species of birds such as trumpeter swans and bald eagles. At the end of a memorable 8-hour tour of this winter wonderland, your guide returns you to your hotel where your tour ends.

Great Company, Great Tour, Outstanding Guide. DO NOT HESITATE to book with this company. I spent weeks trying to plan things to do with the family over Spring Break and happened upon this gem. Buckbrush was responsive and communicative from the first day I reached out to them, all the way through the completion of our tour. Our tour guide, Kelsey, had an encyclopedic knowledge of the area and every animal we encountered. We are a pretty inquisitive group, and I don't think there was a question she couldn't answer. She was a joy to spend the day with and took such good care of us on our full day private tour. Here's the icing on the cake: the private tour price point was very reasonable for our family of four AND this is a company who clearly takes great care of thier employees. Thanks to Brushbuck and Kelsey for a great experience!

This was a five star experience from start to finish. Kelsey was delightful and very knowledgeable. She made the whole day special and had lots of interesting facts to share. She inspired a genuine interest in tge region and the ecosystem with her spunky enthusiasm. She took photos and films with the special telescopic lens and shared on the phone with the group. This was a great bonus. Seeing the wildlife at such close range was breathtaking. The sleigh ride in the elk refuge was also fascinating. At the end of the tour I had forgotten to return the binoculars. I called the office and Kelsey returned promptly to retrieve them. I look forward to coming again and hope to have this brilliant guide again and another amazing experience.
