What To Expect
1
Grand Teton
The majestic, awe-inspiring Teton Mountain Range of the Rockies is the western edge of Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole. With no foothills before them, these rugged 11,000-13,000+ peaks rise straight up from the Jackson Hole valley below.
2
Mormon Row Historic District
This historic area features the iconic Moulton barns and other original structures built by several Mormon homesteaders in the early 1900s.
3
T.A. Moulton Barn
Capture a shot of the iconic Moulton Barn with Tetons in the background. Kids will be thrilled to see the numerous Uinta ground squirrels running about.
4
Jenny Lake
Named after a Shoshone Indian woman, this glacial moraine jewel at the base of the Tetons is absolutely gorgeous. From May 15-Sept 30, you'll experience a 60-minute scenic boat ride on the lake.
5
Jackson Lake
Fed by the Snake River from the north, this magnificent lake rests at the base of the Tetons and is a recreational haven for boaters, fishermen, paddlers and campers.
6
Oxbow Bend
This bend in the Snake River is the definition of serenity, featuring a stunning view and reflection of Mt. Moran of the Teton Mountain Range in the still water. We often see white pelicans, trumpeter swans, blue herons and occasionally beaver, fox and grizzly bears.

Two friends and I booked a private full-day Grand Teton National Park tour for the three of us on October 30, 2022. We had a great day with our guide Scott. He was very informative and responsive to our questions. He provided breakfast and lunch while we toured and stopped whenever we wanted, whether to look at sites or to find restrooms. It was a wonderful experience. The owner, Brian, was responsive to my calls for information, and booking and paying for the tour was seamless.

We have always wanted to see the Grand Tetons and decided that a private tour with Yellowstone Day Tours would be a great way for us to maximize our time in the Tetons while giving everyone an enjoyable, comfortable and educational experience. Our tour guide, Nick, arrived right on time at 6:30am and was very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging throughout the day. We have a tween and two younger kids (5 & 7) and he was able to provide insights about the park, wildlife and area that captivated the attention of the adults and kids equally. Our boat ride across Jenny Lake and subsequent hike to the Hidden Falls was amazing and well timed as the parking lot filled up fast and Nick knew to get us there early. Nick has a background as a biologist studying birds and other wildlife in the Pacific Northwest and was able to share his knowledge with us and make for a very interesting and educational experience in addition to the stunning vistas and wildlife. We have always found that seeing something is one thing but to understand it adds a whole other level of appreciation and understanding. Overall, our day with Yellowstone Day Tours was everything we had hoped for and more and we would highly recommend them when touring the national parks in Wyoming.
