What To Expect

Grand Teton

The majestic, awe-inspiring Teton Mountain Range of the Rockies is the western edge of Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole. With no foothills before them, these rugged 11,000-13,000+ peaks rise straight up from the Jackson Hole valley below.

Mormon Row Historic District

This historic area features the iconic Moulton barns and other original structures built by several Mormon homesteaders in the early 1900s.

Oxbow Bend

This bend in the Snake River is the definition of serenity, featuring a stunning view and reflection of Mt. Moran of the Teton Mountain Range in the still water. We often see white pelicans, trumpeter swans, blue herons and occasionally beaver, fox and grizzly bears.

Jackson Lake

Fed by the Snake River from the north, this magnificent lake rests at the base of the Tetons and is a recreational haven for boaters, fishermen, paddlers and campers.

Jenny Lake Overlook

Named after a Shoshone Indian woman, this glacial moraine jewel at the base of the Tetons is absolutely gorgeous and a must-see!

We chose this tour to start our stay at Jackson. Best decision ever! A huge plus for this tour is that you are picked up at your hotel. Our guide Nick was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable in science and history. As he gave us the tour, he explained the whys of the settlement of the area, history of the park, geologic formation of the area, and environmental location of the animals. He had a great eye for spotting wildlife and allowed us ample time to view the animals. Nick was well-spoken and engaging. He patiently answered all of our questions. I highly recommend this tour, especially early in your stay.

This was an excellent way to hit all the highlights of Grand Teton National Park. Our guide, Nate, was great at spotting wildlife and would pull over anytime we asked to view. He was extremely knowledgeable in the area and gave excellent information as well as answered all our questions. From start to finish, an overall great tour!
