Our guide was very knowledgeable and very passionate about history , I was a bit disappointed as we booked an open vehicle tour and did not realize it would be enclosed - views are amazing, just wish we would have seen more wildlife

We recently took Brushbuck's private, four-hour wildlife tour in GTNP. (Ours was in an SUV, as the cool weather forecast precluded use of the open-air vehicle.) Our guide, Kyle, did a great job. Based on the latest wildlife spotting reports that he obtained, Kyle drove various roads in the park, and we eventually saw various elk and moose (male and female), as well as grizzly bear and a wolf. (The bear was sitting in a tree eating berries no more than 20 feet from our car as we passed by.) While driving, Kyle was able to spot wildlife in the distance that we never would have seen. At one point, we parked the car, walked along a flat trail and found a beautiful elk playing ahead. Kyle not only told us about the wildlife, he informed us about the history of various parts of GTNP as we drove through. He was personable (particularly important on a private tour), picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, and airdropped us all the photos and videos he captured during our drive (using a camera far better than ours). This, of course, enabled me to claim credit when showing our photos to friends. : ) Kyle also wore a facemask throughout the tour to protect against Covid, something we did not always experience from others we met during our vacation. I highly recommend Brushback's private tour and Kyle to take you around GTNP. The tour is not cheap, but was a highlight for us. Thanks Kyle!
