If you are visiting Atlanta or are even from there, this tour is definitely a must-do! You're not only eating delicious food, but you're also learning about the history of Atlanta. Akila, the tour guide, is very knowledgeable about the city's history and presents it in a very interesting way that will make you want to learn more. The portions are just enough and spaced-out very well throughout the tour. It's a great way to see the city, learn the history and eat amazing food all in one attraction!

Treat your spouse or significant other with a tour on Atlanta Food Walks tour. What a gem. Great tour guide and a great way to hear about the history of MLK. So many surprising places to eat and historical twists and turns around the corner. You see art in so many unexpected places and such great food at every stop. You even get coupons to these great establishments to come back and enjoy the fare. Don't miss this one!!!

I first heard about this tour the spring of this year. Because of prior commitments I was unable to take part. I did make the time this fall, and boy was it worth it. The day started out foggy and misty and ended with the sun shining. We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable guide. Akila introduced me to a unique side of Atlanta never touched on in this way. The history of Atlanta, Black American history, and how 3 nationalities shaped the food groups as we know them in the South. The walk was at times a little brisk for me. If I felt I could not do it Akila let me know Uber could be utilized to take me to the next destination along the route. I completed the tour and Akila made arrangement for a cab to take me back to our starting point. I found the sample portions tasty and just enough. The tour booklet provided coupons for future use at each location. Needless to say I have raved so much about this tour and the foods along the route my friends can't wait to take part. We are planning a group tour in the spring. I AM A 64 YO WITH DOUBLE KNEE REPLACEMENT.
