Akita and Jennifer were excellent tour guides. I don't think we were able to stump them with a single question! Thoroughly knowledgeable about Atlanta and its civil rights history. Plus the food was amazing! The way the tour was organized, alternating food and exercise, was masterfully done - I was FULL at the end but not in a food coma. One of the best food tours I've been on. I would definitely recommend the tour to both visitors and natives.

First time I have tried a food walk but won't be the last. Was in Atlanta for a long weekend for the baseball and decided to give this a go on the Friday to start my weekend off and wasn't left disappointed. Joy, our tour guide for the day was absolutely brilliant, not only did she come across as knowledgeable and passionate about the city she also took the time to get to know everyone on the tour to make it a more personal experience and make sure we were being well looked after at each stop. The mix of history, culture and food of Atlanta and how they have intertwined with each other was very well thought out. Most importantly though the food was superb, from some of the best fried chicken you'll ever eat at the start to the sweet puddings at the end :-)

This was my first time visiting Atlanta and my first excursion and it was nice. I enjoyed the food, sites and history. The tour guide, Joy was so delightful and personable. It was also my first food tour and I would make sure to look into doing more in other cities. As far as the food... I enjoyed Paschal's food, the moonshine from Smoke Ring and the Meatpie from Panbury's the most.
