Akila knows her stuff. This is a walking tour 3.5 hours +/- where you'll learn Atlanta history, trivia, past, present, and future, and enjoy some great southern food. 1 - You'll be walking! Use sunscreen, hat, good shoes, maybe a water bottle (but every stop you make there is plenty of water to drink) 2 - Look up and look at the ground. You don't want to miss a thing. You walk among the culture, streets, buildings, and people of Atlanta and it all becomes alive . 3 - The food is delicious. Each stop has different tastes. You never get full or uncomfortable. You come away feeling like you've eaten but you're not stuffed. Savor the aromas and spices. 4 - Ask questions. Akila knows the answer and is eager to teach and share. 5 - It's not dressy and the sidewalks and streets can be uneven so wear what will be comfortable. I did not bring a purse, just stuffed some necessities in my pockets. 6 - I wish I had parked at the end and taxied to the beginning. I would have stayed and shopped at the Sweet Auburn Market. 7 - Probably not for young children as it is long and not entertaining for them. A must do if you're a history buff, foodie, or just like new types of entertainment.
