Fun for visiting family in from out of town. Discovered some new restaurants for those of us who were local and we will go back to them.

The best food and history tour I have been on. I have enjoyed all my Viator trips but this one hands down is the most memorable. Our tour guide Joy was so friendly, engaging, talented (she even sings), and welcomed us with open arms. The food portions were so generous. Enjoyed catfish, okra, shrimp and grits, slow cooked pork, steak pizza, gin mix cocktail and the BEST apple fritter and cookie. The tour of the cemetery was fascinating and beautiful, surrounded by fall trees and flowers. As Joy said, Atlantas history has its origins in food. So interesting. Great tour!

Yum! I'm getting hungry just thinking about the great food on the tour! I'm so glad you enjoyed your walking tour with Joy. She's an amazing guide (with a beautiful singing voice) and so knowledgable. Please keep her in mind next time your Atlanta to experience more local history.

Emily was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The pork belly toast and shrimp and grits were tasty. The tour was shorter than expected but maybe because it was a small group The history of Oakland cemetery was interesting and I thought we’d cover more ground. The eateries were very close (2 blocks) of each other. The last stop was just a “to-go” of pastries.

I'm glad you enjoyed your experience and wanted it to last longer! You're right that group size and walking speed does effect the end time, I hope the shorter length wasn't too impactful. I hope you think of us again next time you're in Atlanta. We do provide other walking history tours that are longer walks if you'd like to cover more ground next time.
