In my opinion the tour is a waste of money. The guide we had was Valery and she thought it was fun to make rude comments. Also we spent very little time at the lake. Most of the tour is spent driving and in the gift shop. My advice would be if you are interested in seeing the lake you should drive yourself.

This tour was all about Salt Lake. Our guide Valerie was knowledgeable and funny too. She even gave us a few pieces of salt water taffy at the end of the tour. We highly recommend this tour.

This is basically just an expensive bus trip to the lake. We spent a half hour picking up other riders before starting to the lake. The guide was mostly a pleasant bus driver. The only mystery conveyed was about a guy, exiled to an island on the lake, who disappeared. Several birds and an antelope were pointed out, but not a significant amount of information was conveyed that was not available at the visitors center. The ride back was in virtual silence; I can't believe there wasn't more information that could have been provided about a lake with a rich 150+ year history. Disappointing.
