What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Had a blast with Dante during our food tour of The Village. He’s genuine, funny and has the amazing talent of remembering everyone’s name! Our group consisted of me, my husband and my recent college graduate daughter. We all agree that this is a tour worth taking. Lots of food to sample and you can’t beat the cupcakes at the end of the tour! And that coffee shop with all the roasted beans!!! I can’t even begin to describe the wonderful aroma of roasted beans. Had to go back at the end of the tour and buy some. We’ll definitely do another tour with the Nice Guy in the future.

Dante (the guide) was a real nice guy! He knew the all right places to eat and entertained us with little bit of history & real estate trivia.. We loved the tour and would recommend to all who would like to explore the Greenwich village and the Italian food this region is popular about!
