What To Expect
1
Washington Square Park
Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.
2
The Stonewall Inn
The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

This was a fantastic way to get up close and personal with Greenwich Village and the history, culture and food that make it emblematic of NYC. Our tour guide, Dante, was fabulous and knowledgeable about the city, the neighborhood, the residents, and the restaurants. He did a great job accommodating all age groups, was patient with our questions, funny. We had a blast and would highly recommend this tour and Dante as your tour guide!

Our guide, Dante, gathered our group and took us on a fabulous 7-stop food tour of Greenwich Village and an incredibly fascinating education about the area--he is a warehouse of information which he happily shares along the way while also giving us peeks of nooks and crannies. Our (voted on) best food stop was Bleeker Street Pizza which is also FoodNetworks Top NYC Pizza for 3 years running--but the treats were all perfectly fitting for the tour and delicious to boot! Thank you, Dante! You rate 5 stars all for yourself! (This was a mostly couples tour, graced by a mom, daughter, and grandson, age 10 but included as a teen to answer the "sort of visit" next question!), on his first-ever NYC experience!)
