What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Dante was friendly and informative, showing us a variety of places to eat - Hudsons Bagels, Faiccos Italian Specialities, Belgian Fries (pommesfritesnyc), Mamouns for tasy felafel, Bleeckerstreetpizza and Artichokepizza , and Molly's Cupcakes. If you were staying a while it would be a great start to more exploring - as it was we enjoyed our samples and exploring of different landmarks. We weren't rushed or underfed. Maybe skip breakfast before the tour... I'd happily try another of his tours on a later visit.
