What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

It was my first trip to NYC at 60 YO. The tour was one of my favorite things we did. The tour rated with Broadway and the dinner cruise around Manhattan at night. I’m serious. The walking tour is a foodies dream. And our guide Stephen was the BEST!

I joined this tour and had a really great time. Dante selected a fantastic range of tasting locations with delicious food, combined this with interesting history and anecdotes and had a larger than life personality and a great sense of humour. He was also really good at drawing everyone into the group and bringing us all together. I had a real blast and will definitely repeat this tour when I am next in NYC.
