What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Dante was funny, engaging and informative. We had a blast and would recommend this to anyone. Plenty to eat and loved everything we ate! Great company on the tour too. That cheese pizza was just the BEST! Thanks and we hope to meet you again Dante!

Do this tour! Dante is an incredible guy who is clearly passionate and loves his job and the food stops are all amazing. If you’ve been researching where to eat when you come to NY you’ve probably come across some of these stops already - it’s a great way to hit a lot of amazing places in one day (and you get a bit of a history lesson and some sight seeing thrown in too). Definitely worth the price (ended up skipping dinner this day because even 8 hours later we were still full). Worth every penny (or cent)!

Dante had a great and fun personality! We learned so much more about the area than we expected and the tastings were great. The dipping sauces for the pomme frittes were wonderful and loved the artichoke pizza. Great tour!
