What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

My mom, sister, and I had a fabulous time exploring Greenwich Village with Dante! Don't hesitate to book this - you won't regret it. I can't wait to go back and do his other tours!

We strolled around Greenwich Village getting just enough snippets of history while popping into little restaurants, delis, and bakeries for a wide variety of tastes. Can't say enough about what a great tour guide Dante was. If I ever go back to NYC, his food tour of the lower East Side will definitely be at the top of my "not to miss" list.

Dante was an excellent tour/food guide! We were a group of 13. Felt like we ate more than we walked so if you’re looking for exercise this is not the tour for you. If you are looking to try generous food portions at 6 selected restaurants, this tour is for you. The food stops were great and Dante was able to contact each restaurant in advance so we didn’t have to wait. Overall great experience. I would go with this tour group again.
