What To Expect
1
Washington Square Park
Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.
2
The Stonewall Inn
The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

This was a great way to taste a variety of delicious food while exploring some beautiful and interesting neighborhoods in NYC while getting some exercise at the same time. Do check the hourly weather forecast (AccuWeather) before you go - I did and was glad I brought a raincoat. Our tour guide, Adam, did a good job keeping us out of the rain, but it was relentless at times. Everything I tried was delicious, and myself and the other 3 vegetarians in our group were well taken care of. Adam, our excellent tour guide, even verified for me that the fries were cooked in vegetable oil (and fellow vegetarians, this is your chance to have delicious fries that have not been cooked in the same fryer with meat - fries are all they serve). The dipping sauces for the fries were unique and delicious. The artickoke pizza was amazing. The falafel balls were the best I've ever had. I was so full by the end of the tour I took my decadent cupcake to my hotel. Adam was a great tour guide, with a lot of interesting information, and he connected well with everyone in the group. I also enjoyed chatting my fellow foodies in the group - even though I was travelling solo they were friendly and personable . I highly recommend this food tour!

A great way to try local food with a local guide! This was my favorite thing we’ve done on our week long trip to NYC. Highly recommend!

Awesome experience. I recommend doing this on your first days there as they will give you insight on some non-tourist areas and places to eat. Adam was very friendly and informative. My only complaint was it was a little fast paced.
