What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

I went on this tour by myself last year and came back to NYC this year with friends and just had to take them on this tour! The food is great, you won’t leave hungry, and Dante was a fantastic guide.

My wife and I really enjoyed our tour with Dante of Nice Guy Tours. We've done a number of food tours in the US and in Europe. Dante was the friendliest guide we've ever had. You can tell he loves his job. His passion, and humor, comes through in his tours. When we come back to the city, we'll definitely do another tour with Nice Guy Tours.

Booked after seeing all the 5 star reviews so hoped it would live up to our expectations. Both myself and my wife enjoyed this walking tour immensely which was full of insights into the Village,s colourful history as well as some fab eats which you may never find on your own. Artichoke pizza was my favourite and not something I would have tried if choosing off the menu. My wives was the Arancini ball but every stop (7 in all) was an experience not to be missed. Dante is a great host, well versed on the area and the big city and answers every question with enthusiasm. He seems to know everybody and as such you get great service at each stop. If you are coming to New York make this one of your “must do’s” whether you are in a group, as a couple or a single. You make new friends as you go along and are sure to make good memories.
