What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

We did several tours on our visit and this one was by far the best and well worth the money. We found the atmosphere around Greenwich village so relaxing after the hustle and bustle of the rest of Manhattan. We saw some less well known features of the city that we would have walked right past without even knowing had they not been pointed out to us by our awesome guide Dante who clearly loves his job and the food was delicious. There are no words to describe the heaven which is the artichoke pizza, seriously the BEST pizza I have ever tasted!!!!! Thanks Dante for making our final day in NY such an enjoyable and memorable one.

While visiting my son who lives in the city, I wanted to plan something fun and different. This tour had great reviews and ratings, and I was drawn to it because Dante owns the company and delivers the tours. We have traveled a lot and know that a tour is dependent on the guide that you get, and you don't always get the one that is getting the higher ratings. This event lived up to the previous comments and ratings!.. Dante is the best at what he does and completely invested in your comfort and interest levels. He constantly probes the guests to see if they need anything, if you like the food that you're tasting or want something different, and are seeing enough sites, etc. The tour was filled with a tasting of many great foods that we would not have typically tried mixed with seeing the architecture in Greenwich Village. I strongly recommend that if you are interested in seeing Greenwich, you use Dante to do it.

We enjoyed the tour very much. Dante is extremely personable and accommodating as well as very concerned that his guests have enough to eat and enjoy themselves. And we sure did. Food was great and tour was interesting and a lot of fun. Thanks Dante!
