What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

We had a great food tour today. We learnt a lot about the area and had some great food we would have never found ourselves. Dante was a great guide, super friendly, helpful and funny! - I'd highly recommend this tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Dante, was very personable and looked after us really well. The food was great - everyone had different favourites - and Dante made the whole tour interesting and good fun. We will definitely do another tour with Dante if we are lucky enough to be in New York again. Thanks Dante you helped to make our Christmas holiday special.

I live in NY, but my mom and sister were visiting from the Midwest. We all love to eat so this seemed like a fun new way to explore the city -- and we weren't disappointed. Dante has such a fun and easy-going way about him. And he does a very nice job of balancing the food tastings with history and architectural highlights (a sneaky way to allow a bit of time to digest in between eating stops!) It wasn't necessarily a discovery of completely surprising and unusual culinary surprises, but the selection of tastings was a very solid representation of local fare -- and they were all delicious. I would definitely recommend this as a fun alternative to more typical tours. A great way to get a taste of one of New York's most fantastic neighborhoods. Highly recommended.
