What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Our trip leader, Dante took us to seven eating stops as well as many more historical/cultural stops on this walking tour of Greenwich Village. You’ll see a proper Italian market, try two types of pizza, Belgian fries and more…a great afternoon out. Thanks so much, Dante! Worth every penny.

What a great tour! Dante our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable about both the history of the area and the food. The pace was leisurely with a welcome sit down and warm up stop half way through to sample the best pizza I’ve ever had. All the food was delicious and be warned, don’t have a big breakfast before this tour! At the last stop we had to take the cup cakes with us for later. Five star tour, highly recommended, thank you Dante.
