What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

My wife and I were in New York celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary (and my birthday) from Scotland. My wife booked us on this as a present and I've got to say, this was the best anniversary present ever! From the moment we met Dante in Molly's Cupcakes, until we had gone full circle and finished up there as well, Dante was an absolute gentleman. He was very knowledgable of not just the area, but of New York, the US and even other parts of the world! He was full of amazing facts, very attentive to the groups needs, charming and funny. The awesome food we had along the way was just an exceptional bonus! He took us past some historical landmarks of the area and to some amazing little eating places that we would never have seen or thought of had we not been on this tour. This was a great way to explore a part of the city that I didn't know at all. Dante was a great guide, knowledgeable and fun, providing us with lots of information about the area and the places we went to eat. The food was all great, a variety of savoury and sweet from lots of different places. The artichoke pizza was definitely my favourite! It was great to have a small group and everyone was fun and friendly. Thank you for a fab introduction to NYC!

This is a great tour and the guide, Dante, has a extremely engaging personality. My Wife and I, along with our two friends, enjoyed the food, the history of the area he shared and the three (3) hours passed before we knew it. I highly recommend this tour and I will do the other tour offered by Nice Guy Tours on my next visit to the City!
