What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

We had a great time on this tour. Dante is such a nice guy (hence the name of his business) and is also really knowledgeable about the history of the area. He's picked out some great places to eat including some of the best pizza in the city. There were people on our tour who were repeat customers - a testament to how great this tour is. This was definitely a highlight in our week in the city. If we had more time, we would have loved to go on his lower east side tour too.

This nice guy’s motto is, “Walk, talk, eat, repeat”! And he delivers ... you’ll learn unique historical facts while you move between each delectable bite in the Village! This tour is a foodie’s delight with a side of history.

Dante was enthusiastic, attentive, and very entertaining throughout the entire tour! A total of 7 restaurants for this price is definitely the best bang for the buck. Come hungry, leave happy!
