What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

We had a blast on this tour! Dante is super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The places that we went were restaurants that we probably would've overlooked. We've done food tours and other cities and what stood out about this tour was the amount of food you get. This is not little tiny samples, we pretty much had full servings at every stop so bring your appetite! We did the 2:30 PM tour and definitely did not need dinner later in the evening! We also really enjoyed learning some history of the city and the neighborhood. Dante gave us another restaurant recommendation for dinner the following night and we tried it and that was great too! Overall just a great, fun way to spend and afternoon with an awesome tour guide.

My niece and I had a fantastic time on this food tour. The history was great, Dante was terrific and we had a lot of food to eat! Fun area to visit and highly recommended!

Dante is amazing and all the food provided is delicious. Make sure you come with an empty stomach so that you can be properly stuffed!
