What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

We had a great time onto tour: Dante was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He was able to accommodate the special time requests of our group. He showed amazing flexibility: when restaurants he had planned to visit turned out to be closed, he had a ready and amazing substitute already in mind. Plus all the good was great (and Dante had a good sense of how much food we should eat at each stop).

We had a great time eating our way through Greenwich Village and learning about some of the local history! Dante was a great guide; funny and very attentive to everyone on the tour. Great food and a fun way to spend time in NYC!

Took a tour today with my daughter. Dante makes you feel like you have known him your entire life!! This was a great and knowledgeable tour. Throughly enjoyed the food tasting and the friends we made while on the same tour. This was a great adventure and it’s a must for anyone to do while in the big apple !!! I know I’ll be doing it again on my next visit. Conni
