What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Great food tour! Dante is an awesome tour guide and all the stops were great and unique. Would not have tried these places if we did not go on the tour. Definitely sign up!!!

My husband and I and our 2 friends booked up as recommend by friends who did the tour last year. We couldn’t be happier they recommended. Dante is fantastic. Friendly, fun, knowledgeable and charismatic. It was pouring rain and this had NO effect on the amount of fun experienced on the tour! All 7 food stops were explained in great detail - the history of each business and what makes the food special and why he includes each outlet in his tour. Passing through Washington square park and past the friends building, there’s lots of other insights that Dante gives you. Thank you for having us! We will be back!

I set up this tour for a corporate team building event. Dante (the owner and tour guide) was very easy to work with and communicated quickly to answer all my questions. The tour itself was great. We met in a nice area and quickly sampled 3-4 foods which was good since we were hungry. This held us over so that we could do a little walking and talking as we stopped by more places to grab a bite. It was the perfect balance of walking/site seeing, sampling food, and socializing. It wasn't too rushed, and certainly wasn't boring. Dante has great interpersonal skills and made the tour fun and laid back. He was able to remember all 23 of our names by the end of the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to other groups, or individuals that want to see a historic part of NYC.
