What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

A great way to experience New York and the lovely hidden places to eat, we took our 12 year old son and was worried it would not be “his thing” but Dante was a great guide with exceptional knowledge of the area and passion for NYC and the food it has to offer. After we had finished my son actually said it was one of his favourite activities we had done on our visit. Thanks Dante for the experience and introducing us to Artichoke pizza.

We have never tasted donuts like the ones we sampled on this tour and yes, as the guarantee on the website says, you will leave leave full! Dante is a born entertainer and is passionate about what he does. Great food, great tour, well worth it.
