What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Our tour was organized as part of a office team building event. We were met by Dante, our guide, who outlined our plans for the evening. At each stop we experienced both some great food but also trivia about the restaurant, community and city facts and trivia. A really good time and a side of the city I would not have experienced without Dante and Nice Guy tours. Thanks.

This tour was wonderful because we were able to taste lots of tasty local cuisine and learn about the history of the area from Dante! Definitely would do another tour from this company!

We had a great time on this food tour we Dante. The food we tasted was incredible and Dante was a knowledgeable, friendly and charismatic guide. He did an amazing job of providing history, context and anecdotes not just about the food but the local area too. I will be recommending this to everyone visiting NYC! And yes- arrive hungry!
