What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

We walked, talked & tasted with Dante and had loads of fun exploring a neighborhood and sampling food at some of NY's oldest restaurants. Dante was helpful, thoughtful (handed us each water on a steamy July day) and entertaining. Highly recommend this tour.

We had the best time with Dante as we made our way along the streets of Greenwich village and ate delicious food. My daughter had been overseas and enjoyed a certain Turkish food called donner. She asked Dante where in the NY was the best place to find it. He surprised my daughter with a sampling, which delighted her immensely and she said it was delicious. If you are headed to the area, I recommend taking this tour!

If you are looking for a little history, good food and a lot of fun this food tour is for you. Dante manages to put if all together and you come away wanting the tour not to end.
