What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Where do I start? The food was absolutely amazing! It was our very first Food Tour and we were very anxious to say the least. Dante is charming and welcoming after a few minutes you feel like you're walking around with an old friend. You meet up at a cute cupcake shop, where the employees are all joking and smiling with both Dante and you. Dante gives great information and background history about both delicious food and NYC. Heads up: you should arrive hungry, we were originally concerned about not receiving enough food, however Dante makes sure you leave full and happy. We highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in visiting NYC.

I have been on many food tours, and I have never had more fun than I did with Dante and Nice Guy Food Tours. From the moment we met him, he set us at ease and made us feel like we were old friends. He is incredibly personable and fun, and clearly loves what he does. He is the owner of the company and does all the tours himself, so when you book a tour with Nice Guy Food Tours you are guaranteed to have a fantastic guide. He provided us with generous portions of delicious food, while we explored the neighborhoods of Greenwich Village, and shared some of the history of the area. I truly could not have been happier with my experience. Next time I'm in New York City, I will definitely be booking another tour with Dante.
