What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Dante has a natural talent for what he does - giving people an authentic tour around a very interesting Manhattan neighborhood. He has put together an excellent tour that will take you through Greenwich village with plenty of stops along the way where you will get to try good-sized portions from each restaurant. Dante also takes the time to share some history about the neighborhood and some of its more notable visitors and residents from over the years. If you're going to take a food tour, it has to be with Nice Guys Tours. Thank you for the experience, Dante.

Dante took us on a leisurely tour of Greenwich Village as we sampled all the local cuisine. He was very knowledgeable about the city and the culture. It is a "carb" packed tour so brace yourself...you may want to skip breakfast. I would recommend this tour to any foodie! I am a Vacation Specialist and I plan to send my clients on a Nice Guys Tour-- don't miss out on this one.

Dante truly gives The best food tours in NY. His presentation is lively, knowledgeable and personable. The experience is more than just sampling great foods, it’s a wonderful atmosphere of learning some ny history, meeting great people and walking thru streets of ny that you may not know have existed. Dante makes locals and out of Towners really appreciate the diversity of this beautiful city and what it has to offer by the passion he demonstrates. Thank you for a terrific time!!
