What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Great tour! Dante was very knowledgeable about the area, history, and up to date with the pulse of the neighborhood. The best thing was he took time to answer any questions the group had, he gave us all plenty of time at each stop, and we never felt rushed.

We’ve been to NYC a number of times but we learned some new things. Dante was a great host. Of course the food was good.

Adam was very knowledgeable about the history of Greenwich Village and we stopped at several interesting sites on our route. My best advice is to arrive ready to walk and ready to eat. Also, pace yourself! We were so full by the end of the tour.
