What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Wonderful tour with a knowledgeable tour guide. We came away full and informed. Nice friendly guide that made us look at food and New York in a new light.

Dante was a great host and very knowledgeable on all the food we tried as well as the places we walked around. He's super friendly and easy to talk to which made the tour that much more fun. Many amazing food places are small hole in the walls but Dante made sure to make room for us everywhere we went. I am officially obsessed with artichoke pizza!! You will definitely get enough food and learn something new. I wish we had time to do the Lower East Side tour as well. If you have time...definitely do this tour!

This is one of the best tours I have experienced when travelling. The food tour that gives you history, laughs, and a belly full of delicious local food. Dante keeps his groups small so you get lots of personal attention. The Bleecker Street Pizza was my favorite, but all the food was great. This is a must do when visiting the city, and come hungry!
