What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Great food. Great guide. We laughed a lot. Ate a lot and overall had a deadset amazing time. Left the tour with more knowledge of both food and the surrounding neighborhood we explored. The group size is kept smaller than other food tours so it’s far more intimate and personal. Definitely recommend and definitely would do one of the other nice guy tours.

Our day in NYC was hampered by crazy traffic and we were going to be late for the tour. A 20 minute delay in arriving turned into a 90 min delay. But we contacted Dante and picked up the tour 1/3 of the way into it. Not to worry, at the end of the tour Dante took our part of the group to the 2 places we missed. He did not have to do that and the fact that he did was very appreciated!!! The tour was lots of fun and we learned a lot about the area, that was a bonus. The food was really good too, Our favorite, Mamouns!!!! Dante is very personable, and gets to know everyone. We had a really good time and look forward to taking another tour with Nice Guy Tours!!!!
