Learn to surf on Maui. Lessons are taught at the best surf beach on the island. Gentle waves and friendly surf coaches will have you standing up and catching waves in no time. This was our first time to surf and the whole experience was beyond our expectations. Our instructor, Super Tortuga, is a great teacher and communicator, with an abundance of patience. We had a variety of physical skill level in our group and he was able to get us all to novice level surfers in the 2 hour session. Kai helped us document the event with great photos capturing our advancing skills from fun blooper shots to ‘live action’ shots on the boards as proof we did it! Highly recommend This event, the instructor and photo options. The location at Kalama beach park was ideal to learn and hone our new skills.

Mathew, amazing turtle man, and kainoa were the best! They got my 6’3” 250lb ass up on waves and got great photos of the whole process. They were polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable! Highly recommend this group for your surfing lessons.
