Learn to surf on Maui. Lessons are taught at the best surf beach on the island. Gentle waves and friendly surf coaches will have you standing up and catching waves in no time. Experienced surf coaches, great surf, and small class size will guarantee a memorable time on Maui. All participants must be able to swim in the ocean and in deep water.

David- our instructor was wonderful. I went with my son and husband. We had the basics on land, and then hit the waves. The photographers captured some great pictures of them surfing. They gave real time advice and helped both surf with ease. David was personable and great for our family. Don’t know the other instructors but David was great. One small deduction is not for the surf school- but location. We were on a very rocky beach. While they did a great job and teaching to fall properly - we all got scraps from the rocks. I ended up just hanging back bc I didn’t feel very comfortable falling in shallow water with the rocks. That’s totally my comfort level- the two boys felt fine but had it been just sandy waters - I would have continued to surf. It’s van-based so maybe it was just the day/location bc it’s not mentioned in other reviews and I wish I would have known that ahead of time. Again- highly recommend regardless.

If you want to learn to surf in Maui, book a lesson or 2 with Eps. He makes the lesson simple and Fun. Well worth the time and money

Branden from Surf Club Maui took great care of our group and made sure we were able to catch good waves, get the right speed and stand up in the correct moment. Without him we would not have been able to score such a fun and successful surf lesson. Had a great morning! The "swimming/wading with hughe turtles was an additional bonus. Had an awesome time, mahalo and thank you very much! Highly recommended.
