Group Surf Lesson in Kaanapali

Overview

Learn to surf in a group setting with our instructors here at Sea Maui Surf! Your group lesson will begin with a land lesson going over ocean safety and beginner level basic steps to learn everything you nee to know on your lesson! As you are in a group setting all participants must have the ability to swim and feel comfortable doing so in the ocean on their own. For participants not comfortable with their swimming abilities (or under the age of 13) We must require you to participate in a private or semi private lesson to not take away from the others experience during the group lesson.

I have been to 4 surf lessons from all around US cities. This is still the top one for me and my beginner partner. Nice wave, good weather and spot, professional couch.

Had an awesome time at my surfing lesson. JT was my instructor and he was super nice and patient. I had never surfed before. I was able to stand up a couple times and catch some waves. They have a photographer who got some really cool shots. The photo package was extra but I felt was worth it. My husband didn’t surf. He sat on the beach and watched. They got him a chair so he could be comfortable while we were out there. Great experience. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to surf, I highly recommend this!

The instructors were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Check-in was very easy & professional. All the staff were very attentive, pleasant and a joy to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to learn to surf. My son (teenager) got up on the first try and had several great runs. They also were very attentive to the safety aspect of being in the ocean and surfing with others. Fantastic expereince!
