What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

First off, Chevy was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and super friendly, you definitely feel like you’re getting the Sedona experience with him. He also took a bunch of great pictures of our group and wasn’t shy about offering. I’ve been on another guided ATV tour in Mexico and this one in Sedona hands down beats the Mexico one out of the water. You’ll go through multiple different terrains, see different landscapes, go up and down hills, and most importantly, you’ll get an amazing view of the red rocks. So if you’re hesitant based on past experiences, I would still recommend trying this one. If you’re in the area, this tour is one of the best ways to experience the desert and view the rocks up close. Best view we had our entire trip.

I LOVED this tour! It was so much fun! The group size was perfect and the length of riding was just right. We enjoyed going really fast down straightaways and also going over some rugged terrain that required some slower maneuvering. ;) Chevy was our guide and he was kind and knowledgeable. He took his time to explain the some of the history of why the rocks are red. He also provided water and snacks and kept us all safe while also allowing us to have fun! Highly recommend!

We had a great time. Did not want the tour to end. Tim was great and everyone on the tour seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. Highly recommend tour if in Sedona.
