The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

We had a great time on out ATV tour. Our guide Tim was patient with newbies but also picked up the pace once they felt comfortable. We went over flat gravel surfaces as well as very rocky up and down hill surfaces. The speed ranged from slow to fast. Tim told us some history of the area and made a few stops for snack breaks and pictures. We traveled 25 miles and had so much fun. Saw horses, antelope, hawk and a snake (luckily only one small one when we were going by at a good speed as I hate snakes). They keep the groups small, we had 6, which was perfect! Would highly recommend this adventure!

Absolutely the highlight of my vacation in Sedona. Everything I hoped it would be. The tour guide, Michael, was professional and obviously enjoyed his job. His enthusiasm was contagious. Just a great afternoon!

This is a good experience for those young and older (50+) :). Aaron, our guide, kept the speed at a good pace for the diverse group of experience. Fun for all! The trails allowed for you to pan off from the group and get back in line quickly for an added challenge. The sites were spectacular! I would have liked more history of the area when we stopped for breaks. Time was used wisely; guide was friendly, attentive, creative (for pics), and quick-witted.
