What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

We had a blast with Mr Donnie! He made sure to take breaks in the best places and was so nice - he even took photos for us on our ATVs. He ensured the group had cold water and a snack and that everyone was comfortable and confident with the trail. The trail was about 25 miles and a great combination of rocky terrain, dusty flats, uphill, downhill, slower and faster. It was super fun and I’d def recommend it!

This tour was one of our favorite activities we did while we were in Sedona. Tim was our tour guide and the absolute best. He was fun, safe, and shared a bunch of historic knowledge at all the vista points. I was a great and thrilling way to see the desert. Watch for the cows and expect to finish dusty!
