What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

A group of us booked this guided ATV tour during a weekend trip to Sedona. I highly recommend this activity and company. Our guide, Michael, was very friendly and had great energy. The actual ATV ride lasted about three hours, and we felt like we got our money's worth and some. There are several stops along the way that allow you to grab great photos. The guides have water and snacks to offer along the way during stops. If you're thinking or on the fence, just do it!

Tim was our guide for this ATV trip and he was not only fun, but full of information. We were able to move at our own pace along the trails, but we never felt like we were being pushed to go too fast or out in areas we weren't comfortable in. We saw many beautiful areas as well.

My husband and I had so much fun riding ATV’s on the Sedona trails! Our guide, Donny, was terrific and very knowledgeable about the area. It was very exhilarating to drive around and enjoy the scenery! Definitely dusty, but we did wear shorts and a t-shirt because it was warm out. I would definitely recommend this trip if your visiting Sedona!
