Arizona ATV Adventures
The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

This was the best thing we did while in Sedona. If you want to get away from the crowds in town and actually see the surrounding area take this tour. My multigenerational family (ages 16-77) all thoroughly enjoyed driving their own ATV's. Our guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable about the area, funny, and a wonderful host as we rode around to various view points. The technical riding was challenging, but fun and the photo spots were beautiful. Do this if you can!

First time riding ATVs, but got an orientation from Tim. Tim was a great guide and told some cool stories and pointed out things of interest at our few stops. Terrain was easy, with a few more challenging spots, but by the time we got to those, all of us newbies were comfortable on the quads. We were given the option to take our own cars to the trail head, which was a nice way to avoid sharing air in a high capacity van from the office to the departure point. Once you're out on the trail, forget about COVID, all your mask is doing is filtering out the dust! They give you a bandana for that too... Great time and highly recommended.
