What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

We stayed in Sedona for a week and this may have been our favorite thing we did all week! Watts was our tour guide and he was amazing. Very friendly, personable, answered all our questions, and made sure everyone was taken care of. On the ride up you get some awesome views of the red rocks and on the way back down you get to ride over some fun rocky areas. I would suggest wearing sunscreen, but other than that, they take care of everything else - snacks, water, toilet paper, masks, and all the gear. Would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a cheaper option than the side by sides.
