Arizona ATV Adventures
The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

Tim and Aaron our tour guides were really patient and did an excellent job on the tour. Sedona is beautiful and I would recommend the guided atv tour.

There are times in our lives that define us as people. There are people in our lives that touch our hearts forever, and ever. On New Years Day of 2021, my boyfriend and I were privileged to experience both. Not only was so-called “Western Sedona” a really stand up company. But we also met the kindest soul who was our guide on this ATV trip. His name? Dottie. From the beginning that I met him, his warmth of personality and mischievous charm completely won me over. He made sure that we were safe the whole trip. During one of our scenic stops, he even offered us some of his Halloween candy. My boyfriend availed himself of many snickers bars, twix, almond joys, mounds, butterfingers, twizzlers, three musketeers, Mars bars, pay days, baby Ruth’s, Reese’s peanut butter cups, wothers originals, and best of all hershies kisses 😚. The ATVs went very fast. And sometimes it was bumpy. But I always felt safe knowing that Dottie had his ever watchful eye on me. 10/10 would repeat but request—nay require—that Dottie be our guide again.

A rally not a tour. Riding through rough terrain at 20-25 MPH with no time for sightseeing, photography, just enjoying the view. "Tour" shortened by leader because of atv ride speed and starting 25 minutes late due to a late participant. Then returned 45 minutes before "tour" was due to be over. Very little info given about area or sites. Constant reminder about giving a gratuity. On the website to sign up, on the counter in the office, even on the ATV there was a sticker requesting a gratuity. As much as these tours cost a gratuity would be appropriate if the tour was conducted like a tour and not a race. I have been an ATVer since 1993 and have ridden all over the USA and Canada. Rode for 20 years in Alaska in the roughest terrains so I am not a rookie and know how a "tour" should go. I would NOT recommend this tour to anyone unless they want to run a rally or a race. Very disappointed.

Sir, we remember you very well. We feel you are not being fair. To leave 25 minutes late and arrive 45 minutes early, we would have to do the whole tour going about 50 mph. Service roads do have a mph limit of 25 and on the rough terrain it is 15 mph We have guests from all over the world and in some cultures it is not customary to tip, so we do have a couple of posters saying gratuity is appreciated. In service industries, gratuities make it possible to keep rates at a reasonable price. With all due respect, sir, you came in upset about the training that is mandatory for insurance purposes. We understand that you are not a rookie and we hope we didn't offend you. After the training it seemed like we were just not able to give you a change of perspective about the beautiful tour you were about to experience. You can see the other five star reviews that were on the same tour as you. We do appreciate the opportunity to express your concerns. We hope to win your heart in the future. Thank you
